How to Design Digital Scrapbook Pages Tip #1 - Designing digital scrapbook pages can be done any number of ways. One of my favorite ways is by color schemes. I do this by picking 3 colors to work with. 2 main colors and 1 accent color. (I rarely include white when picking my colors, simply because almost every digital scrapbook page has white in it.) How to Design Digital Scrapbook Pages Tip #2 - Once I have my color scheme picked out, I’ll design my pages based on the number of pictures I want to include on each page. Some pages I only want to use 1 to 2 pictures and other pages I’ll include up to 18 pictures (depending on the event). How to Design Digital Scrapbook Pages Tip #3 - Once you know how many pictures you’ll be using, it’ll be easier to narrow down the embellishments to use. As a general rule, the more pictures on the page, the fewer embellishments I’ll use. This way the page doesn’t become cluttered and loose focus of the pictures! I’m always confused when I see digital scrapbook pages that have so much going on in the background, that the pictures become embellishments, not the focal point. Once you have the color scheme, number of pictures and embellishments all picked out, you just have to put it all together, tweaking it a little here and there! It’s amazing to me how much faster and easier my digital scrapbook pages come together when I have a plan of attack! For more information on how to make a scrapbook, click here! |
